After days of waiting to see who made the cut in the Black Stars squad to face Nigeria in Kumasi, the Ghana Football Association has shared the names of the players called up online.
The names which appeared to be some precious jewel that was meant for just a few deserving eyes were released early Tuesday morning by the GFA.
The squad is made up of 27 players, which include four goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, four wide players, and four strikers.
The squad contains three debutants, Dennis Odoi, a right-back who plays for Club Brugge in Belgium, Elisha Owusu, a defensive midfielder also in Belgium, and Hearts of Oak left-back Dennis Korsah.
Felix Afena-Gyan and Kudus Mohammed, who were both named in Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon but missed out, have both been included.
Goalkeeper Richard Ofori also makes a come-back into the team after a long time of absence because of an injury.
