From Empress Gifty’s perspective, many churches are not doing their best to help musicians and instrumentalists.
The multiple award-winning gospel musician revealed in an interview on Happy FM’s Entertainment Xtra which was monitored by zionfelix.net that the work of musicians and their team are sometimes taken for granted.
She stated that the highest payment given to gospel musicians in the country by some of the churches is Gh5000.
Inasmuch as some of the churches are not paying them, those who pay peanuts according to her put pressure on musicians.
She urged pastors and church leaders to value gospel musicians and instrumentalists in the country.
Empress Gifty recounted how a pastor refused to pay her and her team after he promised to her via Mobile Money so she should her own money to settle her instrumentalists first.
