Revered Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has opened on how lucrative the acting business was for actors from Ghana in Nigeria.
She revealed in a discussion Zionfelix.net monitored on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’ program hosted by Nana Ama McBrown the amount she was paid in Nigeria.
Jackie recalled the least amount she was paid in Nigeria was $5000.
She stated that some Nigerian producers paid about five times the $5000—which was the lowest.
According to her, Ghanaian actresses/actors loved to go and work in Nigeria because the producers paid them more than their Ghanaian counterparts.
