Ashaiman-based rapper Yaa Pono has refused to offer advice to Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy on the premise that he cares less about what is ensuring between the mentor and mentee.
Kelvynboy, a former endorser of Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music, was assaulted, a month ago, during his visit through the new Electroland Shop in Ashaiman.
Kelly, a bold young man said to be a former body guard of Stonebwoy owned up to the confusion.
He clarified it was a value Kelvynboy paid for commenting some time back that he would prefer to play a show for a GHC7 performance fee than perform at Ashaiman.
However, prior to Kelly’s announcement, speculations were overflowing the demonstration was engineered by Stonebwoy on the grounds that his working relationship with Kelvynboy had soured.
The speculations were powered by Kelvynboy’s obscure message which questioned his perceived attacker.
“You send individuals make dem come beat me? You think say Ashaiman be your own? The moment you start fight me norr wey you loose” he said in a Twitter thread.
Moreover, in a press statement, the Burninton Music Group said the tweets were “shocking, and determined to cause antagonism for Stonebwoy, our association and our image.”
“We have instructed our lawyers to take the appropriate steps to vindicate the legal rights of Stonebwoy and the brand of our organization,” the statement added.
Additonally, being requested to express a word to the two artistes since they are completely situated in Ashaiman, Yaa Pono said he isn’t in the position to offer any advice.
“They can kill themselves; I couldn’t care less,” he said on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda, on Tuesday.
“One man’s activity shouldn’t be another man’s torment. I’m attempting to remain in my path. Stonebwoy has a spouse, has a dad, he has a group. Wouldn’t they be able to advice him if he has made a mistake? Me, I mind my own business.”
