After quitting her professional job as a nurse in Germany to start a new life in Ghana, Wendy Addo, well known as Wendy Shay, has said the journey thus far has not been easy.
The young Ghanaian singer told Zion Felix in an interview on the ‘Uncut Show’ the difficulties she has faced after venturing into the Ghanaian music scene.

From cyberbullying, insults and many other things which were discouraging, the 24-year-old singer revealed her journey in the music scene has been very hectic.
The Rufftown Records artiste lay bare how these challenges made her suffer emotional trauma.
Citing how strong she is, Wendy Shay said she sometimes get back on track after enduring all the pains.

She also mentioned how her mother, Bullet and others have been good counsellors to her. According to her, Bullet has been an artiste before so has seen it all—and always advised her to remain focus.
Wendy Shay advised people to stop hiding behind the internet and bully others.
Astonishingly, Wendy Shay disclosed she has died twice and risen. She stated that the first one happened in October 2018 when she was going for a walk together with her house help and dog where she collapsed.
The ‘Uber Driver’ singer added that her second encounter with death happened in February 2019 at her mother’s residence.
All of the incidents which led to her being admitted to the hospital, Wendy Shay stated that the doctors were not able to conclude the cause of her being unconscious multiple times.
