TikToker Doris Adu Gyamfi, popularly known as ‘Vim Queen,’ has publicly apologized to Kunta Kinte, a member of the renowned Ghanaian music group Bradez.

The apology follows a heated social media outburst where Vim Queen harshly criticized Kunta Kinte for allegedly causing her to spend Ghc280 at his birthday party, despite being personally invited after promoting the event at no cost.

Vim Queen’s rant began with her expressing frustration over the expenses she incurred attending Kunta Kinte’s birthday celebration.

According to her, she spent Ghc200 on transportation to the venue and Ghc30 on the gate fee, bringing her total expenditure to Ghc230.

Feeling unappreciated, she took to TikTok to vent her grievances, accusing Kunta Kinte of inconsideration and poor treatment of his guests.

Her outburst attracted significant attention and controversy online, with many fans and followers reacting to the unexpected confrontation.

Amid the reactions, legendary media personality ,Kwame Adinkra of Pure FM fame stepped in to mediate the dispute.

Understanding the potential damage to both parties’ reputations and the need for a peaceful resolution, he paid Vim Queen Ghc1000—far exceeding her claimed expenses—as a gesture of goodwill.

This act was not only to settle the financial dispute but also to restore harmony between the two public figures.

After receiving the payment, Vim Queen issued a heartfelt apology to Kunta Kinte. She expressed deep remorse for her harsh words and acknowledged that her actions were inappropriate.

In her apology, she called on the public to forgive her for the vituperative attack, admitting that her response was fueled by frustration and a lack of understanding.

Kwame Adinkra further used the opportunity to educate Vim Queen on the positive and ethical use of social media.

He emphasized the importance of responsible digital conduct, especially for influencers with large followings.
