Ghanaian rapper, Nii Addo Quaynor, popularly known as Tinny, has sung the praises of Shatta Wale.
Speaking in an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom Plus FM, the ‘We Still Dey’ composer said his long time friend- Shatta Wale is a good and kind person.
He was grateful about six Infinix phones Shatta bought for his kids.
Tinny recounted how he fought someone who made a negative comment about the SM boss.
“I was in my car at Adabraka when a guy approaches me (Tinny) and he said to see the guy bandana who sing I no dey get the problem, ‘the guy fool paa he no gets problem wey he dey go take taxi’ I got angry and fought with the guy for making that comment. Since then Shatta Wale and I have become good friends,” he said.
Tinny also recalled a piece of advice he gave to Shatta Wale some years ago when he was eager for stardom.
“Many are times in those days’ people do not regard him (Shatta wale) they think he’s mad due to his aggressive of becoming a star, during that time I was with him and understand him.
“The little advice I gave him was enough, he wouldn’t be like Bob Marley and die before his time but he will be alive and become a champion,’’ Tinny stated.
