May 12 was Mother’s Day, a special day solely dedicated in honor of all mothers, to say “Thank you!” for all the sacrifices they make for their children over the years.
Actress and entrepreneur Tracey Boakye decided to make the celebration this year more fun and interesting for some mothers who are widows as she invited them to her home and showered them with cash, clothes, rice, and other items.
The Short Code Bar and Lounge boss through some tears shared the story about the struggles she went through prior to the birth of her son, Kwaku and the many bigger challenges she faced after she finally gave birth to him to assure all the mothers gathered that no matter the challenges they face now, the good Lord will change their story very soon.
The rest of the program after Tracey’s few words was dedicated to eating, drinking, merrymaking and the presentation of cash gifts to all the widows who were invited.
