Avid Ghanaian entertainment critic and artiste manager, Mr Logic, is yet to come to terms with the ban placed on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy by the board of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) following the fracas at the 20th edition.

Mr Logic told Dr Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra which was monitored by zionfelix.net that the decision by the VGMAs board doesn’t make sense.

He asserted that the award scheme is not a personal business for them to take any decision they want.

According to him, the decision to penalize Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy by the board was not in the best interest of the industry.

Mr Logic, known in private life as Emmanuel Barnes alleged it is a ploy by the VGMAs authorities to collapse dancehall in Ghana.

However, he sees Shatta wale and Stonebwoy as individuals who cannot be replaced despite the many great talents in the country.

He indicated that lack of pressure groups in the Ghanaian entertainment industry has created an avenue for some people to do whatever they want.

Mr Logic partly blamed some media personalities who couldn’t voice out when they were invited during the decision making.
