Whilst many nominees for the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music are busily climbing Atwea Mountains, one of the most famous praying mountains in Ghana and Africa to ask God to help them win an award or on Saturday, April 8, that is not the focus of singer Adina.
The ‘Too Late’ singer in a conversation with Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brucnh2Lunch entertainment show has disclosed that she is busily working on her craft ahead of the big night just to make the audience happy. According to the female singer who has been nominated for three categories at this year’s awards, winning an award on Saturday night will be a bonus for her because her aim is to exhibit great performance on the night.
When Zionfelix asked her expectation on VGMAs night, Adina replied that she would be very happy on the night because that will be her first time performing at the prestigious event. Speaking of the awards, she stated “the best person for each category should win but my joy is about my performance on the night”.
“The award will be bonus for me should I win but my joy is really about my performance on the night.” she said.
The artiste real name Adina Thembi Ndamse will perform on Saturday, April 8 with highlife singer Akwaboah. Adina has been nominated for the Record Of The Year, Afro Pop Song of The Year and Best Female Vocalist of the Year categories.
