While it was not known his reasons for deciding to quit at the time, he has finally disclosed why when he sat down with Zionfelix on the Uncut show.
According to the “Abena” crooner, the reason why he decided to quit acting was because he got a Juju scare.
Narrating what happened, Frank Naro mentioned that during the shooting of the movie, which eventually became his last film in the last six years, he mistakenly stepped on a juju which was allegedly meant for someone else.
He mentioned that himself, the late Bishop Nyarko, Maame Serwaa were all shooting the movie with Phamous Films at a forest in Dodowa and after one of their shooting, his legs started to swell.
Against this backdrop, he had to leave the set and quickly go home to seek medical treatment. Frank Naro added that at the hospital, the doctors asked that they amputate him to save his life, however, his mother and spiritual father decline and sort spiritual help.
The “KOOM” hitmaker added that it was the prayers that saved his life and again, it was because he was not the target of the said juju and for this reason, he decided not to act again.
