The 2023 Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK, held at the prestigious Royal Regency in London on October 7, witnessed an unforgettable night of celebration and recognition for Ghana’s musical talents.
Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale emerged as the night’s biggest winner, bagging all five awards he was nominated for, including the highly coveted Artiste of the Year and Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year. His chart-topping track, “On God,” earned him the titles of Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year and Most Popular Song of the Year.
Additionally, Shatta Wale’s loyal fanbase, the Shatta Movement, was honored with the Most Dominant Fanbase of the Year award, solidifying his influence not only as an artist but also as a unifying force among his supporters.
