The CEO Of Mix Master Studios recounted how the how moved we set in motion after he moved to Accra following his not too shocking resignation from ABN’s Radio One back in February 2023.
According to the controversial and tough speaking presenter, the move to Neat FM was being propelled by the relentless efforts of Ola Michael, who is currently the host of Neat FM’s mid-morning and late afternoon drivetime shows.
He mentioned that at the time, Ola Michael envisioned he was going to be the perfect fit for the drive time slot because handling both shows by himself was quite herculean.

DJ Slim added that the negotiations seemed promising as he met key figures such as Kwasi Aboagye, the manager of Neat FM, and Fadda Dickson, the CEO of Despite Media.
However, the promising deal took an unexpected turn when he disclosed his previous affiliation with Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s Radio One in Kumasi during a conversation with Fadda Dickson.
The award-winning DJ recounted that Fadda Dickson expressed reservations immediately upon learning about DJ Slim’s past association.
DJ Slim hilariously revealed that at that moment he regretted for inadvertently divulging that information becuase of that known unwritten rule that Despite Media will not easily pick a former employee of Angel Broadcasting Network, especially, when the individual just left the former media outfit.
Well, this unwritten rule stems from a historical incident in 2007 when Angel Broadcasting Network attracted numerous staff members from Despite Media’s Hello FM in Kumasi.
The fallout from that event has led to a longstanding policy against hiring individuals with a history at Angel Broadcasting Network.
