Popular Ghanaian actor and producer, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has served notice that he will not contenance any form of criticism of his yet to be premiered movie, “A Country Called Ghana” by people who do not buy tickets to attend the premiere.
Speaking on UTV’s award-winning program, United Showbiz, the CEO of Wezzy Empire mentioned that he has already spoken to the Inspector General of Police about this and the latter has agreed to help him do just that.

Lilwin also addes that he believes it is the right thing to do because a lot of people of people who are currently criticizing the work they hav spent millions of cedis to produce have not seen a single scene in the movie, yet, they feel they have the right to denigrate the work in the name of democracy.
He went further to mention the names of popular YouTuber, Kwadwo Sheldon and renowned artist manager cum pundit, Mr. Logic as the two main people he has a serious bone to pick with when it comes to the movie.
“A Country Called Ghana” is set to be premiered at the National Theatre come May 17, 2024.
The second premiere will be at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Sunyani will host the last premiere of the movie on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at the Eubsett Hotel.
Early tickets are currently on sale, with Standard for GHC200 and VIP for GHC500 (713*33*33#).
The red carpet event for all the premieres starts at 6:00 p.m., while the movie premieres at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The movie is directed by Fiifi Ghabin, who also happens to be the writer of the story.
The movie features Nollywood stars Ramsey Noauh, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu, popularly known as ‘Awilo Sharp Sharp.’
The storyline of “A Country Called Ghana” demonstrated how the West tried to influence Ghanaian culture but was met with some resistance.
