According to Lilwin, his decision to enter the political scene is inspired by the recent successes of entertainment personalities who have transitioned into politics, such as John Dumelo, A Plus, Baba Sadiq, and Bibi Bright.

He expressed confidence in his ability to represent his constituency effectively, emphasizing his commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the youth and fostering development in Afigya Kwabre North.

The multi-talented entertainer shared that he had initially considered contesting in the 2024 elections but decided against it due to personal and strategic reasons.

Lilwin did not mince words when addressing his determination to unseat the incumbent MP, Collins Adomako-Mensah.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the current leadership, promising to offer a more inclusive and impactful representation.
