Ghanaian musician and artiste manager, Ogidi Brown has opened up about a harrowing experience that nearly cost his mother’s life in a recent interview on the Uncut Show hosted by Zionfelix.
According to him, on January 5, 2024, just a few days before his mother hilarious chew-a-thon, he found himself in a nightmare scenario as he was left alone with his mother when she suddenly fell critically ill.

Detailing the frightening ordeal, Ogidi Brown recounted how his younger brother arrived just in time for them to administer first aid to their beloved mother, whom they affectionately call Artists Maame.
He also expressed his gratitude to the health system in Italy for the swift response and effectiveness when they got to the hospital with his mother.
Ogidi Brown commended the hospital staff for their professionalism and dedication in providing the necessary care and treatment during her time of need.
Asked what really happened to his mom, he revealed that the underlying cause of his mother’s sudden health crisis on the day was attributed to low blood sugar levels.
