The manner some supposed lookalikes of various Ghanaian musicians have been ganging up and going on a rampage on social media has become a huge talking point in the last few days.
What started as something just to create some sort of amusement on social media recently took a surprise turn when these supposed lookalikes started granting various media interviews.
Another concern that came up which has necessitated some industry players to publicly state that this craze is no longer funny is the allegations that some of these lookalikes have started charging people money to perform at their shows as though they were the artists themselves.
One individual whose name has been mentioned in this regard is the gentleman who is supposedly the lookalike of Lynx Entertainment’s Kuami Eugene.
The young man who currently uses the social media name Kuami Eugene Like is reported to have charged some people money to perform at their show by entertainment journalist Austine Woode during a Twitter space with Kwame Dadzie on Wednesday.
Well, after this revelation and the calls on social media that desist from doing such things, a video of him performing some songs of Kuami Eugene at an event organized at a place that looks like the auditorium of a university has been seen online.
In this video, the young man was seen practicing some of the dance moves of the ‘Cryptocurrency’ hitmaker while the people gathered there surprisingly cheered him on.
