Prophet Bernand El Bernard, the head pastor of Spirit Life Revival Ministry, decided to give an incredible gift to ace gospel artiste Edward Akwasi Boateng.

At his church service on Sunday, February 25, 2024, the man of God presented some valuable gifts, including a brand new car, an all-expense-paid scholarship for his children up to university, and a monthly allowance to ease the burden of his recent financial crisis.

In a video posted online by blogger, Zhikay ikejunior, it is seen that the presentation was done at the Spiritual Revival Ministry in Accra, where Prophet Bernand El Bernard, alongside his congregation, welcomed Edward Akwasi Boateng.

The legendary gospel artist, visibly moved and speechless, expressed deep gratitude for the unexpected gift given to him during these challenging times.

The benevolent act comes on the heels of a viral video circulating on the internet showcasing Edward Akwasi Boateng selling pen drives and CDs at a bus station in Kumasi. The gospel musician, facing financial hardship, made a passionate appeal to the public to support him by purchasing his music.

Two years ago, Boateng opened up about the struggles that followed the breakdown of his marriage, revealing how it became a pivotal point of adversity in his life. He recounted the maltreatment and unfair treatment he endured, driven by his inability to meet the financial demands of his then-wife. In an effort to cope, Boateng had to sell nearly 17 vehicles he owned, further exacerbating his challenges.

Despite having produced hit songs such as “Makoma so Ade,” “Kae asem a waka,” and “mebo wodin,” the gospel artist found himself facing financial hardships, prompting concern from fans and well-wishers. The recent public appearance selling merchandise sparked empathy and compassion from those aware of his predicament.
