Rufftown Records signed artiste, Wendy Shay was recently on social media asking two-time Grammy nominee, Rocky Dawuni to show her the connection he used to get his recent Grammy nomination.
In a tweet, Wendy Shay wrote ‘Chairman @RockyDawuni Show us the Grammy way cos connection dey pass application’ after Rocky was announced a nominee for the 64th Grammy Awards.

Rocky has finally replied to Wendy Shay and given her the most appropriate way to get a nomination which does not include using any form of ‘connection’ as Wendy Shay thinks.
In an interview on Angel FM with Okyeame Quophi, the ‘Beautiful People’ singer said that the only way one can get a Grammy nomination is by composing great songs and making sure that the composition has a quality sound.
He added that the processes a song that is submitted for a Grammy nomination goes through before it is nominated do not make it possible for anyone to influence the process.
