The CEO of Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale, has done another remarkable thing today, June 12, 2024, concerning his philanthropic endeavors.
Together with his manager, a delegation from his foundation, and some fans, they donated an amount of Ghc30,000 to members of the Buzzstop crew.
The money was recently raised during a TikTok LIVE interaction with fans by Shatta Wale.
In the live interaction, the “On God” hitmaker opened up about his lifelong dream, which aligns with what his father wants.
He then went ahead to speak highly of the Buzstop Boys for how they have been cleaning various streets in the country by saying: “They’ve started something on the streets, and no one is paying attention to them. These are boys who have started something like how Shatta Wale started it. And I want the youth to pay attention.”
He then decided to raise GH₵10k to support them in 10 minutes for the collective’s sanitation project.
However, to his surprise, his SM fanbase exceeded his target, by raising GH₵30k in less than 30 minutes.
The amount is what he donated to them today at Alajo in Accra.
The leaders of the cleaning crew accepted the donation and thanked Shatta Wale and his fanbase.
