Award-winning entertainment critic, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has described as needless and classless the recent attack of Shatta Wale on Jackie Appiah during a recent Facebook live Shatta did to vent about the things he thought were annoying in the country.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’ on Saturday night, Arnold questioned to know what exactly Jackie Appiah said wrong when he asked that celebrities in the country should offer their services for free to the government and educate Ghanaians at the time the coronavirus pandemic hit the country.
The Aviation Safety Inspector stressed that this was only an opinion Jackie Appiah expressed, which is something she is perfectly entitled to and did not demand Shatta Wale‘s approach and style of response as though he had a hardcore beef with Jackie Appiah all this while.
Readers will recall the dancehall act, Shatta Wale whilst addressing the E-Levy bill recently in a live Facebook session dragged in Ghanaian celebrities like Jackie Appiah who allowed the government to use them for a campaign by the NLA yet they turn mute when it comes to the other pressing matters.
He went further to drag Jackie‘s image in the mud by suggesting that she has been using her body to get money and not the movie business in the live video by saying: ‘When was the last time you did a movie that sold one million dollars but you always want people to know that you are living life because you are acting, hey there are actresses who are suffering. The ‘toto’ work we know.’
