Ghanaian socialite and actress, Rosemond Alade Brown, widely known as Akuapem Poloo, has admitted to regretting the controversial remarks she made about her industry colleagues, Fella Makafui and Wendy Shay in times past.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Zionfelix on the “Uncut Show” in January 2025, Akuapem Poloo revealed how her disrespectful words have irreparably damaged her relationship with the two stars.

“Even though my relationship with them was cordial, some things I said to disgrace and disrespect them have spoiled our relationship,” she confessed during the conversation.

The mother of one further shared her pain over how the fallout from her actions has left her unable to maintain the camaraderie she once shared with Fella and Wendy. “I can’t pick up the phone and call them like I used to because the relationship is gone,” she lamented.

The remorseful actress explained that her remarks, which she now describes as distasteful and unnecessary, have come back to haunt her, affecting her ability to connect with the people she once admired and respected.

She sadly mentioned that while she could previously pick up her phone and call them for assistance or get a similar call from these colleagues when they needed her, that is not the case anymore.

In the past, Akuapem Poloo made headlines for accusing Fella Makafui of copying others to maintain relevance in the industry and suggesting that Wendy Shay lacked originality as a musician.

These public statements, while garnering attention at the time, have now led to strained relationships that Poloo admits she deeply regrets.
