3 Music Networks, the organizers of 3 Music Awards appear to have gone silent about organizing the 2023 edition of the awards.
Since the awards’ inception in 2018, the organizers have always put together their event before Charter House organizes the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
However, that was not the case this year. This development has genuinely got many music lovers worried because many people believed that the 3 Music Awards was poised to give the organizers of the VGMAs a run for their money and sit up to get their organization done properly.
Amid the growing concerns among music lovers, the former CEO of 3 Music Networks, Baba Sadiq has provided some insights.
During an interview on Joy FM’s ‘Showbiz A-Z’ show with Kwame Dadzie, the aspiring NDC parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi Central parliamentary mentioned that the current CEO of 3 Music Networks, Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai, and her team were preparing to release a statement soon.
Baba Sadiq added that he was not in a rush to preempt what the statement was going to say, however, he was very confident that the current CEO and her team are competent enough to take the best decision for the firm.
On the suggestion that the organization no longer has money to run the awards event this year because he was using all the money to run his campaign for the parliamentary seat at Okaikoi Central, Baba Sadiq laughed it off and added that this was never the case.
