Gladys Mensah Boaku, better known for her on-screen name Nayas 1, has finally let the cat out of the bag on what actually transpired when she decided to give gospel musician Ernest Opoku the beating of his life not too long ago. Well, if you are one of the many who heard the rumor that the actress was arrested by the police, she says it was a complete lie aimed at denting her image.
Nayas1 sworn on the life of her daughter, her acting career and her steering wheel to stress her point that she has never been arrested by the police because of the incident which happened months back.
Speaking to Zionfelix on ‘Zionfelix Uncut’, Nayas1 revealed that she was actually invited by the Nima police to come and assist with investigations because Ernest Opoku had come to their station to make a report against her. She further stated that she walked to the police station herself and was never handcuffed as some online portals had reported.
Nayas1 also made the point that she was quite surprised when she saw bloggers all over the place with reports that she had been arrested. She added that the pictures that were attached to the particular story about her arrest were pictures which were not hers and the once the bloggers took of her at the police station were once they took when she walked out of the police station.
