Mr. Kofi Aduonum, the supportive husband of Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, has decided to be a romantic husband and gift his lovely wife a bouquet of flowers as she gradually gets to the end of her sing-a-thon which started at dawn on the 24th of December, 2023.
Afua’s husband has been at the Akwaaba Village where the event in going on for six straight days and even though he is not the one actually taking part in the sing-a-thon, he has been supporting hials wife all the way.
Earlier, he mentioned in an interview with 3 News that he was confident that his wife will hit the 120 hour target because she is very resilient and determined when she sets her mind to achieve something.
Well, it appears that is true and just some moments after Afua Asantewaa Aduonum crossed the 117 hour mark, Mr. Kofi Aduonum brought in the bouquet of flowers that had all the people gathered cheering them on.

Around 9:10 am on Thursday, December 28, 2023, Afua finally crossed 105 mark in the Guinness world record for the longest individual singing marathon.
The record which is currently held by Sunil Waghmare, an Indian who sang for 105 hours in March 2012.
Afua’s journey to break the above record started at midnight on December 24 and just as expected she has finally broken the record afte singing non-stop for a little over 4 days.
The entrepreneur and brain behind some of the beauty pageants in the country has been performing solely Ghanaian songs back to back at the Akwaaba village where an number of Ghanaians including A-list musicians and politicians have been passing through to support her.
Throughout the sing-a-thong, she has also received a lot of support from Ghanaian social media users who someone sworn a hidden vow to deal with anyone who tries to say anything foul against what Afua Asantewaa has been doing.
