Multiple award-winning gospel singer, Mrs. Mercy Twum-Ampofo known in showbiz as Ohemaa Mercy has officially launched her recording and rehearsal studio, Royalty Music Studio.
The beautiful ceremony held to announce to the world about her new studio was held on Thursday, April 13 at the Royalty Music Studio located on the Spintex Road in Accra. Ohemaa Mercy on the day thanked God for the attainment of fame, wealth and social status. She also showered praises on her husband, Mr. Isaac Twum-Apmofo who has been a rock behind her since she started music.
The ‘Aseda’ singer disclosed that the new recording studio is opened to all musicians but mostly especially to gospel artistes. Husband of the gospel diva, Mr Twum-Ampofo detailing why the recording studio was established disclosed that her wife has always dreamt of setting up a recording studio to help the gospel music industry. He added that this new project will help project the ministry of God.
Gospel musicians who were at the studio launch lauded Ohemaa Mercy and husband for the dream come true. O.J, SP Kofi Sarpong, Piesie Esther, Diana Hamilton, Mabel Okyere, Patience Nyarko, Abena Ruthy and others who were at the ceremony were happy to be one of the first people to experience the wind of change.
Ohemaa Mercy also announced the signing of three male gospel musicians on her record label, Royalty Music. The three who are Francis Amo, Ghanaian-born China-based gospel singer, Bro Philemon and Stars of the Future reality show winner, Ramsey from today, April 13 will be financed, managed and promoted by Royalty Music.
Fast rising gospel singer, Niiella, O.J and Piesie Esther performed at the launch organised to outdoor the new recording studio, Royalty Music Studio.
