Papi of 5Five fame has disclosed circumstances leading to the breakup of the group.

The group which consisted of Luther Azamati (Papi) and Killy (Jeffery Opoku Agyekum), has not been active for years now.

Papi told Mona Gucci in an interview on Onua TV what caused their separation.

According to him, they had challenges sustaining the group after Bullhaus Entertainment withdrew its support.

“We were with Bullhaus. If you have management, they always push you on your toes to do something. But in 2012, our contract with Bullhaus entertainment expired. So we started doing our own thing and then realised it was difficult. Before, we thought we could do it ourselves because we thought it was easy,” he divulged.

Following this experience, Papi has advised young musicians not to repeat the mistake they made.

“You might think you reach. There are people behind you pulling the strings. Maybe even for this interview, Bullgod would have been the one to arrange this meeting. So these are the petty, petty things they do behind the stages,” he stated.

5Five has been in the news lately after music producer, Appietus put their songs online without any permission from the group.
