It is becoming obvious that all is not well when it comes to the relationship between Wendy Shay and Fantana.
Also, it will be very strange for two label mates to fight each other if indeed they have some scores to settle.
Rufftown Records artistes, Wendy Shay and Fantana subtly created a scene for onlookers to talk about when they met at an event recently.
The artistes who were present at the premiere of Becca’s ‘Yes I Do’ song which featured Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage behaved like rivals.
They had the opportunity to hug themselves, chit-chat or wear a simple smile, but Wendy and Fantana refused to do so.
Fantana was dancing with Fella Makafui before Wendy came on the stage, the latter hugged Fella and the same was not done to her label.
In a video obtained by zionfelix.net, Fantana also did not make room for Wendy to hug her as well because immediately Wendy approached them on the stage; she went behind Fella Makafui and started flipping through her mobile phone.
These artistes have not publicly confirmed having issues but their gestures and actions in this video point out clearly that they are cool with each other.
In a recent interview with Zion Felix, Fantana explained that she can only treat Wendy Shay as a business associate because they are not friends—but even if that is the case, business associates exchange pleasantries when they meet.
