It appears controversies surrounding Beast of No Nation’s Strika is not ending anytime soon.
One of the handlers of Strika whose name is only known as Mawuena has denied reports that they have duped him.
Speaking with AK on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review on Saturday, July 13, Mawuena emphasized that Strika’s $30,000 is in a safe hand.
She said the money has been safely deposited at the bank.
“Strika’s money is at the bank. None of us has access to it. recently we sent him to his family. They didn’t care about him. All that the family has to do is to get in touch with us and we will all go to the bank,” she said in the interview which was monitored by Zionfelix.net.
Talking about the plans they had for him after he showed no interest of going back to school, Mawuena divulged: “He said he wanted to be a welder…so planned to let him learn it and after he has finished the training, then we will open a shop for him. He has been with us for five years. and they did not care about his welfare. The family know where they can find us…and we will help them to get the money.”
Meanwhile, in an earlier interview with Joy News’ MzGee, Strika disclosed that he sleeps in a friend’s game house and fends for himself with the money he makes as a porter.
