The assertion by Burniton Music boss, Stonebwoy, during the recent 4syte TV Music Video Awards that the Ghana music industry in the next forty years will not have any artist who can march what the likes of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and himself have done in recent years is still receiving a lot of mixed reactions from industry players.
While some entertainers believe that the claim has some iota of truth in there, the likes of astute entertainment critic Arnold Asamoah Baidoo and musician, Kuami Eugene believe it is a big fallacy. The latest industry person to agree with Arnold and Kuami Eugene is the organizer of Miss Noble Ghana Beauty Pageant and Africa Tertiary Entrepreneurs Awards, Regina Adu Safowaah.
The actress in a very fiery manner questioned why the ‘Ololo’ hitmaker will make such a claim. According to her, there is nothing special about the music of Stonebwoy, which warrants him to claim that the Ghanaian music industry will not have anybody of his class within the next forty years.
Speaking on Onua FM’s afternoon entertainment review show dubbed Anigyemmre hosted by Frimpong Agyei Christian she made the point that there was no need for Stonebwoy to make that remark because she personally does not see anything special with the songs he releases.

The Adonko Bitters brands ambassador further reiterated on the show monitored by zionfelix.net that she hardly understands Stonebwoy’s songs when she listens to them and as such she is at a loss as to how he will make those unfounded claims of being a national asset to Ghana who should be protected at all cost.
