Mabel Tiwaa Rockson, a member of Ghanaian Gospel music group, Halleluyah Voices, has broken her silence on the copyright infringement brouhaha involving Team Eternity.

Recently, Kwame Mickey, a USA-based Ghanaian music producer complained about Team Eternity using a portion of a song he produced without seeking permission.

He threatened to take legal action against them if they failed to do what was right.

On the heels of this, a member of Halleluyah Voices, the group that sang the song written by Osuani Afrifa, has commented on the issue.

Speaking in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM in Kumasi that Zionfelix.net monitored, Mrs Tiwaa Rockson said she planned to do a remix of the song.

While preparing for that, she heard her children singing the song in a different way, so she thought they had done the remix.

According to Mabel, it was later that her husband informed her about Kwame Mickey’s video on social media fighting Team Eternity.

Somewhere last week, Mabel Tiwaa Rockson stated that her husband received a phone call from Team Eternity.

She revealed that what they said to her husband about the song was shocking.

Mabel claimed the group told her husband that they shouldn’t be dragging issues with them like they are secular artistes.

As of now, Team Eternity has yet to make a public statement about the matter.
