Ghanaian comedian and professional teacher, Michael Owusu Afriyie, otherwise known as Teacher Kwadwo, has posed a question to Nana Akufo-Addo following his recent statement.

President Akufo-Addo during his meeting with some officials of the Ghana National Association Of Teachers (GNAT) stated that teaching is not a work that will make them millionaires.

He said teaching is a service to the nation—and added that teachers should do side jobs if they want to be rich.

Reacting to this in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Teacher Kwadwo questioned the time they can use for a side job since they go to school from Monday to Friday.

He then proposed that they should be allowed to go to school on only Mondays to Tuesdays so that they can use the remaining days to do side jobs.

Teacher Kwadwo wrote: “Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo u said, we the teachers should do SIDE JOBS. Pls oo, if u care to know we go to school from MONDAY to FRIDAY then rest on weekends.

So what time are we using to do the SIDE JOBS? The only way is to boycott class in the course of the week!

“So Mr. President can u pls let us go to school on only Mondays and Tuesdays so we use the rest of the week to do our side jobs? This is my humble plea .”
