Caroline Sampson has detailed what led to her exit from YFM after she broke the news on social media today.
After her almost ten years stint with the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Caroline has disclosed her appointment was terminated by her employers.
According to her, the decision which took effect immediately was as a result of financial difficulties faced by the company due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Though it seems not too pleasant, the radio presenter/TV host indicated that she holds no grudges against her former employers.
“I understand it perfectly,” she said.
Commenting on her next move, Caroline disclosed a lot of offers have been coming her way before her contract was terminated but she won’t rush to take any decision that she will later regret by working with any company with unstable finances.
“I have businesses on the side. I’m okay. It’s not that bad. I’ll still survive because I have other things I’m into,” she told Ghanaweb.
Caroline stressed that her love and passion for radio is still active.
Report says other popular presenters who ply their trade for Y109.7FM have had their contracts terminated.
This development follows the termination of Naa Ashorkor’s contract by Multimedia Group Limited, operators of Joy FM.
As Zionfelix.net reported earlier, about 100 other people have been laid off by the company.
