Roman Fada humorously reacted after the Electoral Commission of Ghana disqualified him from contesting in the 2024 Presidential elections in the country.
Following the death of Akua Donkor, the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) nominated Roman Fada, known in private life as Philip Appiah Kubi, to take over as the party’s flagbearer.
However, the Electoral Commission disqualified him on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
A report said the Electoral Commission detected many errors on his nomination forms.
“There were also illegalities on the forms,” TV3’s Crosby Annan reported.
The Commission also clarified they won’t change positions on the ballot papers.
Chair of the Commission Jean Mensa told the media that: “Votes for Madam Akua Donkor will be annulled.”

On the back of this, Roman Fada in a video sighted by Zionfelix.net urged Ghanaians to vote wisely.
He added that with or without disqualification, he was eating his fufu—with the camera capturing a bowl fufu after his disqualification.
Earlier, the Ghana Freedom Party notified the Electoral Commission about its new presidential candidate following the demise of Akua Donkor in a letter dated November 4, 2024.
Akua Donkor named Roman Fada as her running mate before she passed on.
The founder and previous Presidential Candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra on Monday, October 28.
