Ghanaian singer and songwriter Wiyaala has received an invite to join the Grammy Recording Academy Class of 2022.
The energetic entertainer took to Twitter to share the excitng news to her fans.
She joins a limited list of 2,700+ music professionals from several backgrounds, genres, and disciplines who got a membership invitation from the Recording Academy.
Becoming a member of the Recording Academy allows her to vote and also have an impact on other areas of the music industry.
Announcing the news in a tweet, the singer thanked the academy for the invite.
By joining the academy, Wiyaala also benefits from being able to submit projects for GRAMMY consideration, vote in the process (Voting level members only), advocate for music rights and assist with music education programs and career development.
