Wiyaala, Ghana’s current brightest spot in terms of female acts selling the country to the entertainment world was crowned the Artiste of the Year at the 2019 edition of the Ghana Arts and Culture Awards.

In a twitter post of the talented songstress sighted by zionfelix.net, she made this great revelation.

Wiyaala wrote: “Ghana’s Artist of the Year is @Wiyaala presented by Bessa Simons acting President of Musiga Thank you! @Ghartsnculture  Awards 2019 partnered by @MOTACGhana Sponsors @GihocL.”

From the pictures of the event, we have sighted, the acting President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bessa Simons, presented the award to the singer at the event which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 7.

Ghana Arts and Culture Awards which was launched in September 2019 seeks to honour individuals and brands who have made significant contributions to the Arts and Culture Industry in Ghana.
