Top Nigerian musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid has made his plans to build schools in Ghana and other African countries known.
The 28-year-old musician in a series of tweets zionfelix.net read said he has an agenda to provide education for kids on the African continent. Aside from Ghana, Wizkid mentioned Benin and other States in Nigeria as the places he will be starting his school building projects from.
Telling how he will finance the planned project, the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker mentioned that he will use part of his proceeds from his newly signed Nike deal.
He said; “Using my own profits from this business partnership with Nike to build a school back home in Lagos. #Educationforeverychild.
“I’ll need help from fans to pick where we start this. Trying to build a school in every country in Africa. That’s my dream. Surulere, Lagos, Ghana and Benin Republic,”
The Wizkid and Nike collaborative jersey was also announced by the singer to hit the market on Monday, 10th of September and will be sold for $84 or £64.95 or Gh397.82.
