Ghanaian businessman and real estate developer, Nana Kwame Bediako, better known as Freedom Jacob Caesar, has described the 2022 edition of Afro Nation, which came to an end on Saturday, December 31, 2022, as mischievous.
The philanthropist made this description on his Twitter handle and questioned if the organizers would have been left off the hook supposing they did a similar thing in Europe or America.
‘It’s about time we support our own. I want to start by congratulating Afrochella for organising such a well organised and successful event and I want to ask, would Afronation have gotten away with running such a mischievous event in Europe or America?,’ he wrote.

These questions and the description Cheddar has given to the music festival are obviously in reaction to the decision of the organizers to abruptly end the second day of the festival.
According to videos that surfaced online, the host of the 2022 edition, Adesope Olajide aka Shopsydoo, announced to the patrons who had gathered to have fun that the organizers had to end the show because of reasons beyond their control.
He also indicated that the crowd at the main entrance had become too huge to control, for which reason they had to end the show mid-way to avoid a possible disaster.

In the same tweet, Cheddar applauded the organizers of Afrochella for their spectacular organization of the last edition of the music festival which has lasted for five years.
