The entertainment world is mourning the loss of one of the talented actors who emerged from the popular comic TV series Junka Town.
The Ghanaian actor, who is popularly known as Yogot, has reportedly passed away, as confirmed by several sources.
The news of Yogot’s passing started as hearsay on X and sooner than later it became quite certain that it was true.
Takoradi-based radio station Connect FM confirmed this report after it was earlier eported by 233times. The radio stated wrote as caption of one of the videos of Yogot they shared online: “He passed on this morning at Great Faith Clinic inside the Efua Crentsil Building at Effiakuma in Takoradi.”
Per the reports, Yogot died due to an undisclosed illness.
Also, renowned Ghanaian blogger Fiifi Adinkra, the founder of GhanaNdwom, has in some posts on his Facebook wall and X page confirmed Yogot’s sudden passing as well.

During his life, Yogot was a standout character in Junka Town, a show set in the infamous Effia Kuma, known for producing top Ghanaian talents like Kofi Kinaata. The actor’s sudden demise has left his colleagues, including Too Much and Atemuda, yet to publicly respond to the heartbreaking news.
The reports of his death has sent shockwaves through the online community, with fans sharing their condolences and reminiscing about his memorable performances.
