The Chief Executive Officer of the Kantanka Group, Nana Kwadwo Safo has waded into conversations around the economic turmoil the country is currently experiencing.
The automobile huncho has opined that politicians should be accountable to people who elect them.
He was reacting to some interviews granted by the president in the Ashanti Region when he embarked on a 4-day tour of the region.

During a media appearance, the president was confronted with the plight of the people of Kwabre East who have been struggling with bad roads for years.
The locals have of the constituency have made it clear that they will vote out the government if their roads are not fixed.
In response to their complaints, the president said their threats don’t frighten him, adding that it is their right to vote for whoever they like.

Nana Kwadwo Safo has referred to the president’s response as “rude”.
He admonished politicians that it is their responsibility to be accountable to those who vote for them.
In a series of tweets, the businessman admitted that the country’s economy is in a huge problem.
