It is public knowledge that Shatta Wale formerly known as Bandana went on a very long hibernation after he released his ‘Moko Hoo’ album in 2004.
When he finally came back around 2013 from Jamaica, he came with the rebranded name Shatta Wale – a name that has really made him one of the fiercest music brands in Ghana and the world today.
Well, even though he is fully established now, in this throwback video, Shatta Wale confessed that when he came back it was not really easy for him until Sarkodie made him perform at his Rapperholic Concert.
In his own words, the Shatta Movement emperor states that he was performing on stages made with Sapele wood.
Also, one thing that is clear in this video is that Shatta Wale and Sarkodie were ‘a whole mood’ at the time.
